Hello Prayers / Supporters,
We are ALMOST to our support goal, needing only $1,500 more in monthly pledges before we can relocate to Spain. But ALMOST only counts in horseshoes. We must have full support prior to leaving the States. As we MUST leave this summer (July 1 being our target date) to enroll at the Miester Language School in Salamanca, we ask of you the following:
Pray that the following details all come together for a timely and orderly departure: the conclusion of our support, selection of a relocation company for our stuff, our acceptance at the Meister Language school, finding housing in Salamanca, our visa approval at the Miami Consulate, reviewing our will, saying our Goodbyes and details of shipping our cat, Pumpkin/Calabaza.
As we are almost there, we ask you to consider increasing your pledge by 15% which if enough of you do this, will put us over the top OR invite a friend to become a partner for the Tanzies on Team Madrid. Please shoot us an email if you can do this or find a new supporter as the lag between checks going to Atlanta and our being informed can take about six weeks. Without full support, we remain in Florida.
Meanwhile to keep out of debt, Joanne is occasionally teaching and Bob has taken a part-time job as …ready for this… a Bridge Tender under the US Coast Guard. “Toot Toot !! All motorists and sailors stay clear of the Boca Inlet Drawbridge during the Second Shift.” When the bridge is not moving, Bob is free to read, pray and study. Pray that Joanne teaches well and that Bob does not lower the bridge onto that $40 million yacht that passes through the inlet.
Joanne and I want to thank each of you who have hung in there with us during our intineraton. I God’s providence, we are beginning to see his wisdom in keeping us in Delray for these past two years. It has enabled us to get to know our new denomination in some depth and to meet a ton of new people as well as reconnect with old friends.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5
Regards
Bob & Joanne Tanzie
