Not to be confused with the rap group Fifty Cent, 50% means we just passed the half-way point in gathering our support. We praise our God who is faithful and we thank all our current supporters who share our mission vision. We are confident that we will complete our needed support and then move to Spain to begin our language training. Pray with us that we accomplish this by August by means of our
“East Coast House Party”. (for details, updates and current prayer requests see www.rtanziespain.org).

Our first House Party just held in Delray Beach, Florida, at the home of Marie Horenburger, put us over the half-way point. (Thank you Marie and friends!). At the end of April, we will begin an eight-week tour up the east coast of the US driving to Orlando, Atlanta, DC, Abingdon MD, Philly, NYC, Boston and Essex NH. Most of these locations will hold a House Party with the goal of raising the bulk of our needed support. Please keep our travel safety and effectiveness in communicating the vision of Team Madrid in your prayers. Also remember our many hosts and helpers who are putting this together. Pray that the Lord brings just the right people to each of these venues.

With the Easter Season just past, we are reminded that “Jesus was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Romans 4:25. It is this sure and certain resurrection life that we wish to communicate to the people of Spain. Good News of free grace that transforms peoples and nations. This is why you have partnered with us in this pioneer church planting ministry.

Last month we were away for four weeks presenting our ministry to the following supporting churches:

• Covenant Life PCA, Sarasota, Florida: here the face of missions can be anyone from eighty plus year old Stan, an evangelist of Jewish background to Jewish people; a newborn heading with her parents to the Far East to plant churches; a young Chinese-American working locally with unwed moms; or an international couple from Miami working with Spanish and Portuguese speakers in theological leadership training. This couple helps train 4,000 church leaders in over thirty nations. Today missions is as one said "from everywhere to everywhere".

• North Fort Myers PCA a congregation which though a small church is one of our largest supporters in prayer and finances.

• Briarwood PCA, Birmingham, Alabama: We took part in the Briarwood missions conference whose theme was "Blest To Be A Blessing". As the PCA got it's start from this church, it was of great interest to us. Together, between church and school, we spoke over a dozen times in six days. Dr. Richard Pratt preached an excellent series of sermons to the thousands gathered for worship throughout the week. Though a larger church, we found ourselves very much welcomed and made to feel at home.

• Westminster PCA, Huntsville, Alabama: Joanne and I were impressed with the many newly itinerating missionaries who were present with us at this gathering. Sam Logan, Chancellor of Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia preached from Acts relating Paul's mission to today's mission challenge.

• Lake Osborne PCA, Lake Worth, Florida: Tim McKeown gave some very focused challenges to the congregation on the sacrifices needed to reach their neighbors with the love of Jesus in a rapidly changing community. Whether right next door or over an ocean in Europe, we are called to bring the gospel to whomever will hear.

May God grant us the wisdom and courage to be bold and unashamed of his glorious good news.

Regards
Bob & Joanne Tanzie
