YOU DID IT ! 100% Through your sacrifices, Bob and Joanne Tanzie have reached full support. We are approved to join our mission team in Madrid July 1st. We praise God for your missionary vision and for standing with us during our itineration begun January 1st 2006 and concluded June 10th, 2008.

Now the hard work begins: prayer.

Just as we are totally dependant on your financial gifts, we are even more dependent on your upholding prayers. As you are all well aware, Christian mission (at home and away) is first of all a matter of disciplined prayer. As one of our veteran church planters says in Eastern Europe, we only go forward on our knees. I very much like that image: “on our knees” brings out our complete helplessness in the face of unbelief yet “go forward” also reminds us of God’s investment in the project of his kingdom advance. So please keep us in your prayers. As we hope to spend the remainder of our days in European ministry (and hoping God grants many days) I’ll not ask you to pray for us daily, but would you commit (or recommit) to praying for us weekly ie. look on our site www.rtanziespain.org
or our team site www.mtwspain.org and then pray for us each week. If you will do this, please communicate the same in an email. It will be a great encouragement to Joanne and I.

Pray for the people of Spain, 45 million who have in large part have only a cultural veneer of faith. Disillusionment with the church is massive. Pray that the risen Jesus would live out his life through us in a real and compelling way.

Pray for Team Madrid, that we jell well and become an effective instrument for the gospel of Jesus, for church planting and for sparking a Spanish led church planting movement.

Pray for Bob and Joanne, we fly Iberia the evening of July 1st at 8:10pm to Madrid where we will spend two weeks in orientation with our team then move for one year to the Mester Language School in the university city of Salamanca.
